This information can help you make a timely and well-informed decision on your purchases.

 

  1. How do I order my Course Materials?
    2. Visit our website and select the bncvirtual.com button. This directs you to our virtual textbook store through Barnes and Noble College (“BNC”). Select “Let’s Get Started”, and enter your Student ID number under “Shop By Schedule” to view all your materials.

  2. Where do I order my uniforms?
    3. Right on the WSCC Online Campus Store!
    - Paramedic can be found directly at http://booksource.westshore.edu/Store/RequiredMaterials/Paramedic
    - EMT can be found directly at http://booksource.westshore.edu/Store/RequiredMaterials/EMT

  3. What items are required for my uniform?
    4. -Paramedic students are required to have
    -One Jacket
    -Three Polos
    -Two pair of pants
    -Belt
    -Optional Baseball Cap
    -Optional Beanie
    If you were in the EMT program the belt and pants are the same, so you may not need to reorder.
    -EMT students are required to have
    -One Polo
    -One pant
    -Belt.
    -Optional Jacket 

  4. When can I order my uniforms?
    5.  Paramedic uniforms will be available to order starting July 14th, 2025.
    EMT uniforms will be available to order starting November 24th, 2025.

  5. What can I do to help ensure my uniform arrives before clinicals start?
    6. To give the best chance for your uniform to arrive before clinicals, we recommend that all Paramedic students place their order no later than August 8, 2025 and EMT students to order by January 16th, 2026. Ordering by this date allows time for processing, shipping, and any potential delays.

  6. Can I use my financial aid to pay for my purchase?
    7. Yes! If you have been awarded financial aid, you may use it to purchase your course materials and uniforms for the Fall Semester between July 14th, 2025, and September 9th, 2025.

  7. Can I try on uniforms before buying them?
    8. There is no fit line available to try on uniforms in the Bookstore, but you’re welcome to visit NYE in Grand Rapids to try them on and get fitted. 

  8. How will I receive my order?
    9. To ensure all students receive their uniforms, they will be either delivered to the Riemer Center or available for pickup at the Scottville Campus Bookstore.

  9. What is the return policy for uniforms?
    10. All uniforms are FINAL SALE and are NOT RETURNABLE!

  10. Why are prices not listed on the website?
    11. If prices are not listed on our order page, it means we are awaiting feedback from our suppliers. As soon as pricing is finalized, we’ll update the ordering page with uniform costs. Please check back regularly for updates.

  11. Why am I being directed to this page?
    12. We want to ensure you have access to information to help you make a well-informed decision about your required course material purchases.

  12. Is there a size chart that I can reference?
    13. There is not a size chart, but you can find instructions on how to measure for your uniform pants HERE.
