This information can help you make a timely and well-informed decision on your purchases.
- How do I order my Course Materials? Visit our website and select the Course Materials button. This directs you to Barnes and Noble College (“BNC”). Select “Let’s Get Started” and enter your Student ID number under “Shop By Schedule” to view all your materials.
- Why am I ordering my course materials with BNC? WSCC has partnered with Barnes & Noble College (BNC) to provide course materials and related services for our students. When you order through BNC, you are purchasing directly from them, and all of their procedures and policies apply to your order—including shipping, returns, and refunds.
- What if I need help finding my required materials? If you're unsure what you need, bookstore staff can look up your required course materials using your class schedule or assist you online.
- When should I order my course materials? We recommend ordering as soon as you have your class schedule. Keep in mind that employer billing and financial aid charging have deadlines.
- How do I know if my healthcare facility will cover the cost of my course materials? Each healthcare facility has its own policy. Some employers pay for the course materials, while others ask the apprentice/student to purchase them directly. The best way to know is to check with your facility's education coordinator or HR department.
- What if my employer is paying for my materials? Follow the instructions from your employer or facility coordinator.
- What if I have to pay for the materials myself? You can pay with credit/debit, financial aid (if eligible), or out of pocket.
- Where do I order my uniforms? Only select programs require uniforms. If your program does, you can find details and order through the Bookstore website.
- Can I use my financial aid to pay for my purchase? Yes! If you have been awarded financial aid, you may use it to purchase your course materials for the Fall Semester between July 14th, 2025 and September 9th, 2025
- How will I receive my order? If you ordered a print book, it’ll be shipped to the mailing address you gave us. If you ordered an eBook or access code, you’ll find it in Your Digital Content on our virtual store, or it may be sent to the email you used when registering. - Can I return or exchange course materials? Most materials can be returned within the bookstore's posted deadlines. Uniforms/scrubs and electronically accessed materials (ebooks, online access codes) are final sale and cannot be returned View return FAQs HERE
- Why are prices not listed on the website? If prices are not listed on our order page, it means we are awaiting feedback from our suppliers on cost. As soon as we have firm cost information our ordering page will be updated with pricing for our students. Be sure to check back at our page for updates.
- Why am I being directed to this page? We want to ensure you have access to information to help you make a well-informed decision about your required course material purchases.
